‘A walk through the forest’ Visualisation Meditation

Dear all,

This week, on the blog, I’d like to share with you a short visualisation/meditation. I call it: ‘A walk through the forest’. The visualisation/meditation is only 3 minutes long. I made it short to make it accessible for more people. I know how busy everyone is these days and to sometimes find even 20 minutes to meditate can be a challenge for many. So I made it short, so more people can try it and benefit from it.

In the background, you’ll be able to hear some beautiful sounds of nature, which I recorded while walking through the forest recently. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Make yourself comfortable and let my voice be your guide. When you finish meditating, please take your time getting back to your day.

Happy meditating!

With best wishes,
Jana x

My gift to you!

Dear all,

It’s just a couple days before my brand new book, ‘Courageously Vulnerable – a path to loving and accepting your ‘imperfect’ self’, officially comes out on 22nd August 2021. As an early celebration, I’d like to share with you, my new meditation, ‘You Have Always Been Enough’, which is also included in the book.

I absolutely loved writing and recording this meditation for you. I hope it will serve you in a great way and help you realise how special, worthy and good enough you truly are. I also created a gentle background music for this meditation which sets a peaceful atmosphere and helps you relax when you listen to it.

So, sit back, relax and let my voice be your guide.

I hope you enjoy it!

With best wishes,

Jana x

Remember who you truly are {Meditation}

This week, I’d like to share with you my brand new meditation: Remember who you truly are. In these times of global crisis, when most of us see ourselves as powerless, I want to remind you, that in your true nature, you still have so much power and so much wisdom within you, to rise above any darkness, any limitations and frustrations you may experience. The power of your human soul is unlimited. You are much more than you think you are. Deep within you, you already know this, you just forgot about it for a while. So, let’s remember again.

I put my heart and soul into this project, and I really hope it will bring you peace and many personal realisations.

The meditation is just over 10 minutes long.

Make yourself comfortable, put on some headphones, if you like, close your eyes and let my voice be your guide. I hope you will enjoy it 🙂

P.S. Please, do not listen to this meditation whilst driving or operating machinery.

With love,
Jana x

Calmness = your secret superpower

Firstly, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. We are still in the global crisis, so therefore it’s important to support each other more than we’ve ever done before. Let’s put our egos aside and start really co-operating. Let’s lead by an example, so others can get inspired by our actions and not become upset by our behaviour.

In the last few days, I’ve been noticing lots of tension building up. People are leaving social media, because they are being attacked and abused for their views and beliefs. I thought, that especially now, social media was a place to virtually gather and celebrate each other’s presence, but clearly, I can’t fully stand by that statement.

There is so much judgement and unnecessary hate floating around. Just the other day I’ve seen a viral video made by a man here in the UK. He was recording a video while driving his car and pointing at all the people walking in the streets using a very inappropriate and insulting language. Of course, people should only go out when really necessary, to get their food and other essentials. But that wasn’t the main point of his video. His monologue went something like this: (I will use ‘pauses’ where he used any swear word).  ‘Look at all these crazy ____queuing in front of the shops and walking around. Look at them. They must be all ____ eastern europeans. Look at that woman, definitely a ____ eastern european. Look at these muslims and indians. They shouldn’t even be in this country.’ The monologue went on for a while, but I just could not continue watching the rest of the video. He was getting abusive more and more, by every second.

It’s quite sad, that even in the global crisis, people still act this way. I was shocked. We should all realise, that we are in this together. And in truth, we are all citizens of this world, of this earth, of this universe and not of the geographical location we were happened to be born in. But, that’s not a point of this post.

Luckily, not everyone is like that man. But, the sad truth is, the tension amongst people is clearly building up. There is so much unnecessary hate floating around. We need to be wiser than that.

I’ve been noticing a lot of pressure within myself too. Many things, I wouldn’t otherwise give a second thought to, irritate me. And I am working hard to dissolve these irritations. Part of me thinks, this is because we spend more time on our gadgets where we are surrounded by too much information from other people. So, if you need to take a break from these gadgets, I would definitely recommend limiting their use. Try to filter what you let in.

So, the question is: What can we do when the tension is clearly building up around us? How can we stay in control in the middle of this chaos?’ We need to remain as calm as we possibly can. I know this can be easier said than done, but when you are in a calm state of mind, you are able to see what you are not able to see when you are anxious, in fear or over-reacting. When you are in a calm state of mind, you will be able to see things from a different perspective and also notice solutions instead of all the obstacles and negativity. That’s why I call calmness your secret superpower.

To help you out, I created a simple meditation. Even if you’ve never meditated before, give it a go. Make yourself comfortable and let my voice be your guide. I believe it can help you feel better. You can access it at the link below.

Stay safe and look after yourselves.

Become a conscious creator of your reality

In the last few months, I’ve been really paying attention to my thoughts and emotions. I always believed in the law of attraction, but ever since I began fully focusing on what is going on in my mind, I realised how I’m actually creating my reality. I strongly believe that our outside world is a mirror of our inner world. Whatever thoughts we are thinking and the feelings we put underneath these thoughts is what we will see in our lives (or something on a similar frequency). We are the masters of our reality and we have the power to make it the way we want, just by what we we give our energy to. What we focus on always expands.

Learning about manifesting and the law of attraction from so many amazing spiritual teachers and coaches also helped me to come one simple realisation: When we want to create something specific, we need to simply INTEND IT and then fully BELIEVE IN IT. We have to be clear exactly what we want and believe within the whole level of our being, that it is possible for us. Then, of course, we have to take some necessary steps to bring it into our reality.

We are the masters of our lives and we make the rules even though it may not seem like that all the time. But really, we are. ‘Life is not happening to you, life is responding to you’, like Rhonda Byrne says. We are choosing our thoughts, which are creating our beliefs, and these beliefs create our perception of the world we see.

This week, I’d like to share with you a brand new visualisation meditation (linked below), which I created with an intention to help you become a conscious creator of your reality. Make yourself comfortable, put on the headphones and let my voice be your guide. I believe you will enjoy it.

Step into your Future (visualisation)

This week, I would like to share with you my brand new visualisation STEP INTO YOUR FUTUREI often find, that by visualising our dreams on a daily basis, meditating and seeing the best version of ourselves now (before it’s even here) can speed up the process of bringing what we desire into our reality. Of course, we also need to take action(s) in this process and have discipline, (nothing is going to happen if you only visualise all day). But, if we are willing to put in some work, we can create some great things in lives.

Never visualised or meditated before? Don’t worry.

This visualisation is very simple and straight forward. All you have to do is to find a comfortable place where you are not going to disturbed for at least 5 minutes. Get your headphones (for the best results and effect I always recommend this), plug-in and make yourself comfortable by sitting or lying down. Then, close your eyes to avoid any visual distractions and let my voice be your guide.

This visualisation is a ‘generic visualisation’, so you can use it for anything you would like to manifest into your life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Brand new meditation (Chakra Meditation)

This week, I would like to share with you one of my newest meditation for chakra balancing and healing. If you are already on a spiritual path, you may have come across the term ‘Chakras’ and why it’s important to know about them. If not, have a little read.

What are chakras?

The word chakra comes from an ancient Indian Sanskrit, and means spinning wheel of energy. These vortices of energy interact with your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body to create harmony. For a healthy soul you need healthy chakras, just as for a healthy body, you need healthy organs. One interacts with the other on a deeper level.

The chakras are like rainbow-coloured dots stretched horizontally along the spine (see the image below). The chakras distribute energy throughout your body. Although they are invisible to most of us, some people can see them. There are people with the ability to perceive the world beyond their five senses, such as healers or shamans.

You too can awaken this ability, if you’re open to it. All of us can sense energy around us and easily pick on vibes from others. If you can do this, you’re able to sense chakras. We’re all powerful souls with many fantastic gifts and abilities yet to be discovered. Chakra colours are fluid and changing as your emotions change and they can become muddy and faced. The colours of the chakras indicate your current state (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual).

The above information I’ve given you is just a very brief overview to get you started. There has been many books and articles written about chakras, and I strongly encourage you to research them. I dedicated a whole chapter to Chakras in my book Mystic Butterfly ~a guide to your true selfOf course, if you are new to spirituality or my work and have any questions related to chakras, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll be happy to give you some further guidance.

In the meantime, have a listen to the meditation below. Find a comfortable place where you are not going to be disturbed for a few minutes, sit down, close your eyes and let my voice be your guide.

Releasing Fear Meditation

This week, I’m excited to share with you my latest meditation. Many of us live in so much fear and scarcity. My own life used to be run by fear and insecurity. I didn’t trust the processes of life to take care of me and I was constantly feeling edgy and uncomfortable. Daily meditation and reconnection with my soul changed things enormously. Check out the meditation below and start releasing fear and everything that is no longer serving you and you are ready to let go of.

Releasing Fear Meditation

Meditation for beginners

Most of my twenties I suffered from a very severe anxiety. I was unable to relax and constantly worried about something. I tried many things to help me, but nothing really did the trick. During the endless search to get out of this storm, I discovered the teachings of Kadampa Buddhism and a beautiful practice called Meditation. I began taking Kadampa Buddhist meditation classes, which made a wonderful shift in my life. I also started practising meditation at home. Every time I felt the feelings of discomfort and anxiety floating into my reality, I knew I needed to go home. I knew, I needed to reconnect to my truth, to my soul by meditating. Now, I cannot imagine my life without meditation. It is something I try to practice on a daily basis, whether it’s just for 5 minutes, an hour or more.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a beautiful practice that can change your life in many incredible ways. I dedicated an entire page on my website to Meditation, and if you are new to it, I recommend checking it out: https://www.mysticbutterfly.co.uk/meditation/ You can also find some of my guided meditations on this page.

Many people say to me, they don’t know how to meditate. A wonderful Indian yoga teacher, ayurvedic healer and scholar Tirumalai Krishnamacharya used to say: “If you can breathe, you can do yoga.” Well, I say the same to people, when they say they say they don’t know how to meditate: “If you can breathe, you can meditate.” I am very excited to share with you my brand new guided meditation, which I created for beginners. Get your headphones and find a comfortable place, where you are not going to disturbed for a few minutes. Let my voice guide you to the place of stillness and peace, and enjoy the wonderful benefits meditation offers.

***For this meditation, I recommend to be seated in a chair, with your feet ‘planted’ firmly all the ground. ***

The Art of Meditation

AdobeStock_65958619Dear friends,

I would like to talk about meditation this week.  Meditation is a beautiful practice which can enrich your life in many ways. It has many fantastic benefits, but most importantly it creates a wonderful connection with your soul. Meditation has developed in eastern cultures, but it’s becoming more and more popular in the western world. Many people are exploring and learning this beautiful practice and enjoying its benefits.

Meditation brought so much light and clarity into my life. When I was going through a difficult period in my life some years ago, meditation was my saviour. It really was. It allowed me to still my busy mind in the moments of darkness, and I learned to listen and act on the voice of my soul. I have always been very creative, but meditation deepened my connection to this beautiful gift even further. So many fantastic ideas and projects came to life thank to the moments of stillness and clarity I obtained by meditating.

Meditation has many great benefits and many of them have also been proven scientifically now. Here is a list of few: emotional steadiness and harmony, calmer breathing, fresher and clearer outlook on life, better goodnight sleep, stress and anxiety reduction, better focus on daily tasks, more creativity, increased acceptance of oneself, living in the present moment, spiritual clarity and many other physical, emotional and spiritual benefits.

Simple meditation for beginners

I would like to share with you some basic tips, so you can start enjoying the benefits of meditation right away.

Find a comfortable place where you are not going to be disturbed for at least 5-10 minutes. Make sure you are as comfortable as possible. As a new meditator, I suggest you sit in a chair with your feet “planted” firmly on the ground. Turn your palms facing upwards (this way you are open to receive all the goodness and all the positive energy this Universe has to offer~if this resonates with you), then close your eyes.

Start taking deep breaths slowly and deeply. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. When you inhale, I would like you to imagine you are breathing in a pure white light. This pure white light represents all the positive energy of this Universe (e.g. happiness, love, peace, gratitude, beauty, truth). When you exhale, I would like you to imagine you are breathing out any “clouds of darkness.” These clouds of darkness represent all the worries, fears, any negative energy you are willing to let go of. Visualise these clouds travelling far, far away to the distance, and know in your heart that they will never return back to you. Follow this cycle of breathing for a few more rounds or for as long as it’s comfortable for you. If any thoughts or emotions come to the surface, don’t judge them, just acknowledge them and simply breathe them out. When you are a new meditator, you will notice how busy your mind actually see. Be gentle with yourself and don’t judge yourself. Keep breathing slowly and deeply and breathe in more of the beautiful, pure white light and breathe out anything that is no longer serving you. Let it all go.

When you are ready, come out of the meditation by visualising the space you are currently in. With your eyes still closed, bring some movements to your body, stretch a bit-very gently and when you are ready open your eyes. Have a glass of water afterwards to purify your body.

So this is a very simple meditation you can try today. If you are unsure about anything and need some more guidance, please send me an email to jana@mysticbutterfly.co.uk  and I will be more than happy to assist you and give you some additional tips on meditation. I also think it would be very beneficial for you (as a new meditator) to try some guided meditations, and I am going to share with you one of them now. It is one of my own meditations and it calls Nature Connection Meditation. All you need is to get your headphones, find a comfortable place and let my voice guide you through the process. The link is bellow. Hope you enjoy it!

Good luck with your meditation practice and I look forward to connecting with you soon,

Jana x
