Hello guys,
Life has been very hectic lately. I have been back home in Slovakia to visit my family and while there, I also started my conversion training for new aeroplane type- Dynamic WT9. What a beautiful aircraft. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to fly it.
As I got back last week, I started working on lots of things, beside my ‘’day job’’, and haven’t stopped ever since. But here I am today, finally finding time to drop few lines.
I find, when life gets very busy, we tend to speed up with it even more. This has been definitely my case. The more I have on ‘’my plate’’, I literally look for more work. Crazy, right? It is ‘’sort of work addiction’’. But addiction of any kind isn’t good for us. After while, we start feeling burnt out, exhausted, unmotivated and stressed out. So how can we get out of this trap?
By making few daily adjustments, we can start feeling more energetic and happier and most of all, being more PRESENT. I’ll give you few tips which help me when I get ‘’Seasons of getting too busy and feeling trapped.’’
PEACEFUL MORNINGS
Start your day right, by waking up in the morning having plenty of time without rushing anything. For example, have your cup of tea peacefully without any rush, really concentrate on drinking the tea, not sipping it while you are rushing around your house while getting sorted. Really be in the present moment as much as possible. By giving yourself plenty of time to get organised in the morning, starting easy and without rush, you start your day right and won’t feel burnt out by lunch time.
TAKE BREAKS AND BE PRESENT
Take little breaks during the day, by stepping out from your busy work schedule, if possible. Look out of your office window and take few, deep, conscious, cleansing breaths, and check in with yourself, realize what is going on and clear your mind. Really think about what you are doing, by being fully present and concentrate on one thing at the time.
GOOD BOOK BEFORE BED
I like to end my day by reading something inspirational, which keeps me inspired and it effects my subconscious mind positively during sleep. Reading something which enriches you right before going to sleep, can have a great, significant impact on your life. And the great news is, after practising it regularly, you will see how refreshed and energized you’ll feel when you wake up, ready to face a new day full of positivity and excitement.
Hope this helps a bit and I look forward to checking in with you again very soon.
Love and Peace, Jana x
